We’re getting interviewed

Recently, a good friend of mine contacted me about conducting an interview with Skyline Park. Now, it is potentially a mandatory school project, and also isn’t with any major news or music corporation, but it is also potentially a really big interview (we’ll let the fridgeheads decide). Also, we’re going to have a photoshoot where hopefully we’ll get our album cover, so it should be a good time.

Honestly, I just wanted an excuse to post Michael’s face on our website.

Album Progress Update #1

Damn, 2 months into production and I think we’re almost done (we’re probably not) We previously announced that we had finished tracking Rhythm Guitar and Bass, but decided to completely re-write a song to make it better.  Hopefully by the end of this weekend we’ll have that finished, and can also get a start on guitar solos. We’re also looking for an effective way to record drums, as the current electric kits we’ve been using haven’t really done the trick.

After that, most of the lyrics have been written, so it does just feel like patching up and mixing. I’m hoping we can have this out in March, but that might be a stretch.

Also, Ryan’s still in the Russian wilderness. Hopefully we can go find him Friday night, and we’ll document that experience.

The Journey Begins

skyline frog w bandThis was the default title post title WordPress gave me. Honestly, it’s pretty depressing. Anyways, here’s the Skyline Park website. We’ve made really good progress on our debut album, and hopefully we’ll have some clips to show you soon. We’re anticipating a Spring 2018 release, but we’re going to take our time and make sure the music is exactly what we want it to be.

Until next time, Stay Frosty Fridgeheads.
